Plate Viewer
Interactive microwell plate visualization for laboratory data. Supports 96, 384, and 1536-well formats with heatmap coloring, well selection, and statistics.
What This Visualization Does
This tool enables scientists to visualize and analyze data from microwell plates, which are standard laboratory consumables used in high-throughput screening, drug discovery, and molecular biology experiments.
Key capabilities:
Heatmap Visualization
Color-codes wells based on measured values using scientific color scales (viridis, plasma, inferno, coolwarm). Quickly identify patterns, outliers, and gradients across the plate.
Well Type Indicators
Distinguishes between samples, controls, blanks, and standards with colored borders. Essential for quality control and data normalization.
Interactive Selection
Click to select individual wells, or Shift/Ctrl+click for multi-selection. View real-time statistics (mean, std dev, range) for selected wells.
Multiple Plate Formats
Supports industry-standard 96-well (8×12), 384-well (16×24), and 1536-well (32×48) formats used across different experimental scales.

Use Cases
High-Throughput Screening
Visualize compound activity across thousands of wells. Identify hits, detect edge effects, and validate assay quality.
ELISA & Immunoassays
Display optical density readings with standard curves. Calculate concentrations and assess plate uniformity.
Cell-Based Assays
Monitor cell viability, proliferation, or reporter activity. Compare treatment conditions and dose-response relationships.
